Right smack dab on the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces, this New Moon rings a bell that reverberates with the changing of the Ages. The 26,000 year Precession of Equinoxes is a long cycle, during which the zodiac constellations take turns rising behind the March Equinox Sun, giving each 2150-year Age its name. The constellations overlap, so there is a transition phase. As we know, since the Sixties, it has been “The Dawning of the Age of Aquarius.” Take that as a musical suggestion for the day—or the whole month!
The Moon, then Sun immediately enter Pisces, opening up a floodgate of change in the cosmic mood that flows more strongly day-by-day through this third week in February.
On the 19th, MARS jumps into Aries, ever-so-ready to emerge from the Piscean water world of mysterious yearnings to head out and explore fresh trails.

Overnight the Pisces Moon brings visionary, oracular dreams:

VENUS and the MOON follow Mars into Aries on the 20th, an obvious fiery and energized shift of the emotional tone. The waxing crescent Moon then conjuncts both Venus and Mars. Expect oodles of exciting activity and spontaneous impulses to continue on though the 21st, when this refreshing fiery energy will ignite the Uranus-Pluto square.
On the 22nd, the mythic lovers VENUS and MARS unite for the first of three trysts this year (quite unusual!). There is a very special wavelength of “genius” available over this weekend if our level of sensitivity to the holographic field is tuned in. Now moving forward in psychic Pisces, Mercury is revealing what it has downloaded from the heart of the Sun, sowing seeds that will unfold in spacetime during these next couple of months.
We are in a cycle of profound endings and beginnings. As we each tap into this spring of our Joy, the creative life force moves through us. This is a form of enlightenment. Some of our old belief systems may be challenged by this point of view. So be it. The walls need to crumble to let Spirit fly free! In myth, when the hero Perseus cuts off the snaky head of Medusa, from out of her severed neck flies Pegasus, the Flying Horse— to soar on the wings of imagination and inspiration. The next task is to free Andromeda, the Chained Princess, who represents the imprisoned Goddess inside each of us. What an adventure! What a worthy quest! The many constellations that picture this story in the stars are activated now, woven into our current storyline.
Take up the magic sword or wand, given to you by the Goddess of Wisdom. Let the spiritual warrior in you cut free the chains of fear and illusion. Look into the deep dark mysterious cave of your heart, as we are collectively looking into the Heart of the Milky Way Galaxy. Give up unhappiness, discouragement and fear. This is no time for the faint of heart. Live life to its full, accepting what is and feeling our way along the path toward the light, open to what can be if we truly desire, from deep in our hearts, that it may be so.
