NEW MOON at 18 ARIES 04

Electric URANUS conjuncts this New Moon so closely we are likely to see sparks fly for several days. Fresh ideas pop out like popcorn from a popper or stars after dark. Watch for Jupiter prominent in the east. In the next two weeks of the waxing Moon we can see which ideas sparkle the most with promising solutions that match the pressing need for innovative ways and means. Try some on and see how they feel. Ask Jupiter for practical guidance. In Virgo, organic wisdom prevails.
PLUTO is even closer in alignment to this Moon, with a powerful and challenging nudge from Capricorn, reminding us that we are not in total control. This evokes anxiety in many of us. Pluto is relentlessly restructuring global and personal systems and plans through whatever means will clearly demonstrate that we are past the Eleventh Hour. This is a critical time. We don’t have time to dilly-dally. Each step we take is meaningful. There is no let down to the impact from last month’s eclipses that change the scenario almost daily. Stand strong and centered, or the winds of change may push you off balance. Do what it takes for you to be in your center, from where you can see more clearly which direction to take to navigate these rather disconcerting cosmic fluxes.
We continue to be buffeted from all directions and need some buffers to steady the fast-flying time-space zone we are in. Focused SATURN, retrograde in Sagittarius, supports this New Moon. Typically Saturn in this intuitive sign gives us ample time to find a sense of direction, but we need to stay on point. To make sure you’re sure, Saturn is slowing things down, giving us even more time to consider how things are going.
Action planet MARS, also in Sagittarius, is moving at a slower pace than this fire sign likes, soon turning retrograde also (April 17). This is for the best. If we dash toward the finish line, we’ll likely trip over our own feet, or stomp on someone else’s. Patience is a virtue to cultivate through June. We get as far as we get by mid-April, then consolidate our progress, hard-earned thus far in 2016. Make sure you are heading in the right direction for long-term success. This extra time allows us to test out what we really want, and how to proceed. No energy to waste. Things start gelling and lining up as we head into late summer.
Just in time for this New Moon, VENUS swam out of Pisces and popped into Aries, adding her own brand of sparkle and shine to the picture. “Go for it, why not?” she asks. “Let’s spice it up. I am so ready for something new and different!” And MERCURY is now in Taurus, carefully thinking things through for productive outcomes. “Does this idea have value? Is it worth investing time, energy and/or money, into?” Mercury will go retrograde at the end of this month (don’t groan!), giving us even more time to consider. Yes, as I said, things slow WAY down. “This is good, advises JUPITER in Virgo. “If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right. Take your time.” Hone it, improve, tweak and then streak. Make it worthy.
Sharpen that Sagittarian arrow for a true aim. What inspires you? That is a worthwhile and essentially practical question for longterm success.
