NEW MOON at 2 LIBRA

A New Moon so soon after official Equinox makes this seasonal turning point particularly potent. Once considered a holy day, we might well begin collectively celebrating the four seasonal gateways again as we remember to honor and listen to the Earth. Many of us, more and more of us are doing so, as witnessed by the huge surge of participation in the Earth parades on Equinox Sunday.
Conversations and cooperation take precedence, following up on some of the exciting developments from recent weeks. Praise to those forward-looking individuals and organizations that mediated and maneuvered these promising and forward-looking initiatives.
Let’s further these life-affirming initiatives. What are your intentions? We can bring forth excellent agreements on most points, as long as we are not too fussy in our immediate expectations, or grump about the fine points that are not crucial. On a personal level, new relationships are bonding as well, to be tested in the next few weeks.
Under this Libra New Moon, negotiations continue to develop and are weighted in the Scales. Some indications about the bigger picture, probably from the other side of the globe, are already in the morning news. Many of us are awake early, talking about important matters. Lovers in new relationships get to know each other a lot better. Longstanding relationships can be refreshed. Family relationships can use some attention. Situations need to be dealt with so we understand each other. Everyone’s point of view counts, to be listened to and taken into consideration. Let’s realize what exciting possibilities are on hand by getting along and joining together. Not everyone is on the same page. Some arguments ensue. Some points of view may not find common ground. In some cases we must agree to disagree. Some partners and partnerships may disengage.
OCTOBER, POWERFUL MONTH
We carry great enthusiasm into an October punctuated with a pair of unusual and potent eclipses as well as a MERCURY RETROGRADE cycle. This trickster planet turns retrograde in early Scorpio on the 4th, but spends most of its backward loop in Libra. Decisions are being reconsidered, as well as some of the new partnerships we were surprised and excited about last month. Terms of agreement are a little harder to come by, so negotiations take longer. Sometimes it’s just a matter of opening wider the listening ear.
Especially the first week, leading up to a TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE, the Sun is directly involved with the Pluto-Uranus Square. It may be solar flares that impose transformation and press for consciousness awakening throughout the solar system, including Earth. The issue is bigger than what is called global warming on our planet. A renewing SOLAR ECLIPSE in Scorpio on October 23 is like a dark chocolate, cherry-filled truffle, with Venus in its heart.
As we see in the astronomical impression of our expansive neighborhood, we are part of a cosmic web. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are increasingly sensitively attuned to the web of relationship on so many levels. Pluck a single thread on the web and it vibrates throughout the whole. We see that in social media, and in the results of the wavelengths we send out to any particular person in our lives. Whatever vibration we send out in thought or feeling to another is received and responded to at some obvious or subtle level. Relationships are like harmonious or dissonant chords in a symphony. We can shift the dynamic of any relationship by attending to the energies we send out. Isn’t that an empowering thought?! Right Relationship calls for special attention under the Scales of Libra, the Scales of Truth and Justice.

In the section of the galaxy we are now moving into, we are being inundated by quantum impulses and waves of photon light that wake up more of the DNA information and forge new neural pathways in the brain.
