Full Moon Total Eclipse@ 16 Taurus/Scorpio 01
November 8, 6:02am EST; 3:02am PST; 11:02am BST; 8:02pm AEDT

During the extraordinary special Venus Star Point at the Scorpio edge of Libra on October 22, the Goddess of Love was conjunct the Sun on the far side of her orbit, communing with the stellar field. Venus continues to travel close to our Star during this Eclipse season. In Scorpio she pulls us deep into hot, spicy, dark chocolate emotional depths. Like those deep-diving Japanese women pearl divers, we seek the most lustrous and passionate desires of our souls. Nothing less will do as the alchemical catalyst to evoke beauty, love, abundance and all the other aesthetic experiences of Venus, creating with sacred geometries in resonance with Nature’s design.

During her time in Scorpio, October 23-November 16, we feel the pull of Eros, who emerged from Chaos with Gaia Earth. We dive into that chaos, letting go of shadows that obscure the way, and lesser desires that distract us from the truest longings of our hearts and souls.

The Song of the Reed

Hearken to this reed forelorn,
Breathing, ever since t’was torn
From its rushy bed, a strain
Of impassioned love and pain.

The secret of my song, though near,
None can see and none can hear.
Oh, for a friend to know the sign
And mingle all his soul with mine!

‘Tis the flame of Love that fired me,
‘Tis the wine of Love inspired me.
Wouldst thou learn how lovers bleed,
Hearken, hearken to the reed!
-Rumi

Venus is often considered the mother of Eros. More than the cute little Valentine cherub, Eros is creative passion for life and love. in Scorpio, Eros, like a Zen Archer, pulls back the string on his bow to touch back into his heart, from whence he sees the target clear. He lets fly the arrow, be it lunar Elven Sliver or Royal Solar Gold. We soon enter the season of Sagittarius, when the arrow will pierce through the most beneficent vision we can imagine. This is a creative opportunity to take advantage of, as the Big (Jupiter) Dream (Neptune) stimulates the Eclipse portal.  The next New Moon is at 2 Sagittarius on November 23.

Jupiter back in Pisces joins Neptune in spiritual wavelengths of Divine Grace that permeate our beings. Through phenomenal, Earth-bound eyes, the physical dimension appears chaotic, disruptive, unstable, and confusing. We are called to look through the Eyes and Ears of our Heart, seeking and listening for resonant frequencies to guide us into new ways of living on Earth.

Uranus is in the same 17th degree as this Totally Eclipsed Taurus Moon. The impact will ripple throughout and around Earth to rearrange our reality to better align for the imminent collective Pluto rebirth into the sign of Aquarius.

The repercussions of the intense build-up of the waxing Moon will have major impact. Imagine a balloon filling up with air, thinning the rubber and stretching its perimeter to bursting point. What is in your balloon? What thoughts, emotions, desires have been stirring over this last two weeks— through this whole year!— that are ready to burst out. Fireworks can be dangerous or excitingly beautiful. Interestingly excitement can be interpreted as anxiety. Uranus may have a bit of both but you can transmute anxiety into excitement.

Mars, retrograde in Gemini, asks us to be open-minded about what is happening. No taking for granted, but rather be curious. Do a double-take on information coming out. Squaring both Neptune and Jupiter, there is a lot of fog and obfuscation in the communications arena. Look into things yourself rather than taking someone else’s word. Remind yourself that we are called to into our hearts rather than our heads for the truth that resonates for us.

Both Venus and Mercury sandwich the Sun, reflected by the Full Moon. The curtain is slowly drawn across the light, secreted in a process of hidden Earth magic, and revealed anew. What has been alchemically shifted? Uranus does not suggest some subtle nuance, but an obvious, likely shocking, surprising, amazing change to our world: a wake-up moment of import. ‘Expect the Unexpected’ with Uranus.

This Taurus Eclipse on the North Node ‘forward movement’ point of Destiny, encourages us all to develop our self-reliance, our ground and our strength, physically, emotional, mental and spiritual. Feel your way through this eclipse and stretch deeper into the ground to help stabilize your vision of moving forward in your life. This supports collective progress.

Mercury in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus could be a signal to get out of your head and into your body. Such a fine instrument we have to sustain our life purpose. Treat it well, like a tree that deepens its roots to grow sturdy and productive.

Venus in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus brings new values to the table and into our lives. Venus rules Taurus— and money. Changes in a realigned global financial system come to a crescendo shortly, so this Full Moon suggests. That balloon has been stretched beyond its capacity, ready to go bust and let loose something radical and revolutionary, according to Uranus. Imagine that the fireworks flare out, the starry lights falls to the ground like rain and burrow into the ground for new growth.

The Sabian symbols suggest cosmic drama:
Full Moon @17 Taurus—
A Symbolic Battle Between ‘Swords,’ the Disciples of Might, and ‘Torches,’ the Disciples of Enlightenment
Scorpio is a shadowy sign, as we contend with inner ‘battles’. Which side of our nature, the dark or the light, is making decisions about how we live our lives? The basic choice itself, whether we choose Love or Fear, is not always a choice made consciously. We each examine where we are coming from and transmute subliminal or more overt negative thinking and emotions as fully as we can. Let Venus lead the way.

The Sun is at an interesting degree, which surprised me as if I had never read it before:
Sun @17 ScorpioA Woman, Filled with Her Own Spirit, is the Father of Her Own Child
An unusual situation indeed, this ‘virgin birth,’ symbolic of an extraordinary, ineffable birth process. Rather like this eclipse season, seeded by a very rare conjunction of the Sun/ Venus Star and Haumea, the distant Kuiper Belt Object named for the Hawai’ian Goddess of Childbirth. The Divine Feminine is birthing a higher level of quantum consciousness during this lunar eclipse cycle. What are you giving birth to? What do you need to let go of to do so?

Where in your life will you experience this Uranus/ Moon?
At 17 Taurus, what area of your life
are the Uranus-Moon fireworks going off in your chart?
Are you bursting for some change or new developments?
Are you ready?
