HAPPY NEW YEAR, A LA CHINESE!

This NEW MOON in AQUARIUS

(February 9, 11:20pm PST, February 10, 2:20am EST, 7:20am GMT)

brings in on a wave the YEAR OF THE WATER SNAKE.

My celebration was to go to the sea and take this photo of Naga Kanya, a water snake goddess. She is magical and powerful and wise. See her five-headed canopy of snake wisdom and how her serpent tail wraps around her body. She knows how to move with the flow and ebb of the tides of change and let go of dried-out rags of old tattered patterns. Listen—she holds out the conch shell, a feminine, pink-tinted shell that sounds the call of the sea.

This water snake goddess leads the way into this very watery year. Saturn dives the deep waters of Scorpio’s revitalization. Shamanic Chiron and Dreamtime Neptune guide the party of planets in Pisces this month to create a new dream of the Earth. In late June, Jupiter joins the waters, enhancing Cancer’s blessings of abundance, when we welcome what is needed without resistance as we plunging deeper into the cosmic seas.
