A Christmas angel, haloed by the darkened disk of an eclipsed Sun, holds the Milky Way galaxy like a frisbee. She is flanked on both sides by images of Jupiter, showing the prominent eye of its great storm among bands of charged atmospheric clouds. She stands on a sea star in glistening waters above the Sun’s nuclear surface. The Sun is seen again on the left side, along with more of its planets–another, red Jupiter, ringed Saturn and clouded Venus. Trumpeting angels celebrate the harmony of the spheres in front of star-spangled nebulae. The collage is framed with strips of the Rosette nebula in Monoceros.
